Insert a hyperlink on a cell with empty hyperlink doesn't work as expected

Steps to Reproduce:

1. load the attached Excel in Spreadsheet
2. select a cell with empty hyperlink, say B2
3. set address to http://www.google.com
4. click the hyperlink just set

Expected:
open a new browser window to the specified hyperlink

Actual:
Nothing happened, no browser window is open.
