When composing formula and you click on another cell (change focus) then the cursor in the formula editor moves to the beginning of the edit text. I suspect its the way that these browsers handle the Javascript. Chrome moves the to just after the equals sign and IE9 and Safari move the cursor to before the equals sign. Firefox handles this correctly.
