When trying to invoke an applet's method on IE, two possible outcomes are possible: the method is not executed and rather a call to the stop & destroy methods is made (followed by a timeout call which redirects to main page), and an error such as "error: Method not found <methodName>" is thrown as a javascript error dialog. The invoked method is calleable from other Browsers such as Google Chome and Mozilla Firefox.
