client side tree open/close and virtual scrollbars

      having the native scrollbar disabled, opening/closing a tree node only adjusts the virtual scrollbar when initally adding the tree nodes, subsequent open/close leaves the scrollbar unaffected.

      resizing the browser window fixes this
