prevent autohiding of the paging control the paging mold

When using mold="paging" in grid/listbox/tree it is not possible to prevent the paging component from autohiding when there is only one page, or when the model is empty.
This sometimes gives an undesired visual feedback where a visible but disabled paging component would be preferable.

at the moment this can be achieved by an external paging contol. but not when using the paging mold.
Therefore it would be practical to determine something like autohidePaging="false" together with the paging mold.
