- lose the focus by pressing tab
Actual Result
Text gets cut off.
Expected Result
no text gets cut off.
Debug Information
It's a known IE bug https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/details/776537/text-in-right-aligned-input-gets-cuts-off-when-using-ms-clear , and microsoft doesn't plan to fix it.
Not only decimalbox, other input components might also have the same issue. But datebox and spinner doesn't have this issue for they don't have right border on html input element.
Workaround
- Hide IE10's clear button.
<style > input::-ms-clear{ display:none } </style>
- To keep clear button visible, set padding-right to 0px
<style> @media screen and (-ms-high-contrast: active), (-ms-high-contrast: none) { .z-textbox{ padding-right:0px; } } </style>
